About Annamarie
The night I became a momma to our first baby….Annamarie, as I knew her, left the hospital room and she has not been back since. My life focus shifted to being the best mom I could be and making sure my children lacked for nothing. I’m not talking materialistic things, I’m talking my time and devotion.
Being a stay at home mom is not easy on so many levels. I vowed to give 1,000 percent to my children, home and hubby. They were my focus and I’m proud of the job. I’m very proud of my boys…they are kind, compassionate, respectful and smart. What more can a mamma ask for?
It was time to carve out a little Annamarie time, do something that was for me but also benefited the family. One of my dearest friends introduced me to doTERRA. I was already an avid essential oil user. Quite simply…they work and I love them. Within a very short time period Simply Smith Oils was established. I couldn’t be more excited for this new adventure.

Along with being a husband and father of two boys, I work 8-5 in telecommunications. Saying 8-5 is very conservative as with many jobs these days that require 10-12 hours daily to keep up. Every year wondering about downsizing and the dreaded task of finding another job.
One weekend Annamarie told me she was having a party and inviting friends over. I didn’t think anything about it as we were already using essential oils and natural healing in our family for some time now. Then it got to the business portion of the presentation. Being skeptical as I always am, I was soon researching the company and products. I have tried to find ways to discount the idea of starting our own business as a distributor but the more I researched, the more I fell in love with the idea of running our own business and what doTERRA could do for our family and for my issues, replacing my income. That point in my journey is where my wife will tell you, “He started to take over”. My goal is to become a educator of starting your own home based business and share success with as many people as possible.
Together we have started our essential oils business and love sharing what essential oils can do for our health and family finances.
